The Chinese Zodiac | Story Book

A compilation of Penang-based artist, Thomas Powell's Chinese zodiac-inspired portraits from his solo exhibition in 2014. The book starts with the story of how the animals were chosen in the order that they appear in the Chinese zodiac. There are many versions of the story but Powell chose the Great Race version that tells of how the animals raced each other for a spot in the zodiac.
